I can't formally retract the erroneous 2.0 I gave this back in 2018, but I can say that, five years on, I've come around to this record in a big way. Quality death metal with great atmosphere without being "atmospheric" (read: boring) metal. Diabolus in Muzaka

Out of the 5 great albums this is still the best one, because it delivers this fun and groovy horror vibe. Tvangstanker is a neckbreaker in my book. Undergang is easily the best new band from the 2000s. Death Metal as it should be. roughbough
The Indonesian act Kekal leaves no genre unturned, colliding black metal with industrial music with melodic post-rock on this stunning LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 25, 2023
The San Francisco band rachet up the chaos on their second album, combining elements of hardcore, death metal, and grindcore. Bandcamp Album of the Day Sep 28, 2021

This is simply an aural orgasm for any death doom fan. Not only cavernous and filthy but a dense occult and esoteric gasping atmosphere that will make you fall into a ritualistic gaze. Had this on cd for a while but why rip it when it's BC Friday? Top 5 all-time fave bands in the genre. All of their releases are top notch. Plug in, tune in, drop out... Deadpanist
